Leonie is a Ghanaian-British writer and cultural researcher based London with work featured in Business Insider, Vogue Business, Adidas,Harper’s Bazaar, Empire Magazine,Soho House, Creative Review and is alumni of HarperCollins Author Academy 2021 and London Libraries Emerging Writers Program 2021-2022. She is co-founder of Words We Write Festival and Alumni of 2025 Pocoapoco Residency
I work best when I can combine all my skills. As a cultural researcher I work best to understand communities and cultures. When writing I build honest narratives, around those communities. As a cultural strategist I plan with simplicity, relevancy and longevity at the core.
As a cultural researcher she has built a portfolio career with multiple ways of working where she gathers, analyses and reframes local marketing insights to engage with modern culture.
